I’m not sure what this little slate-roofed stone teepee in Sologne really is – maybe a dovecote.
Je ne suis pas sûre à quoi sert ce petit tipi en Sologne avec son toit en ardoise et ses murs en pierre – un pigeonnier peut-être ?
The Loire Valley and especially Blois
Perhaps part of what was a windmill?
I don’t think it could have been a dovecote — too low, too easy for predators to access. I reckon William might be fairly close — I think it’s a pump house. My other thought is that it might be a lavoir, but it doesn’t look big enough or a practical shape for that purpose.
I think it was once a tower but built on too soft ground !
