Known as the Queen’s Cabinet but in reality François I‘s studiolo (study) designed for king when the castle was built. The original sculpted woodwork with its painted gilt candelebra makes it the only royal cabinet from the Renaissance to have survived in France.
Le cabinet dit de la Reine, est en réalité le cabinet ou studiolo (lieu d’étude) de François Ier aménagé pour le roi dès la construction du bâtiment. Fait exceptionnel, il conserve ses boiseries sculptées de candélabres peints et dorés, qui en font le seul cabinet royal de la Renaissance conservé en France.

Wow, now that’s a study. Love the tile floor, and of course, the wood paneling.
They have a lot of beautiful tiles in the castle.
