I’d heard of periwinkles, I suppose through reading novels, and now you’ve introduced them to me.
What an amazing carpet when they are in full bloom.
When I first arrived in Europe, I got a real kick out of finally seeing things I’d only read about in novels. I love the wild flowers.
We’ll see similar flowers here carpet the floors of woodlots in a few weeks.
In a few weeks – that seems a long time to wait …
