Beauvoir Tower in Blois was originally a keep surrounded by a moat. In 1256 it was attached to the town’s fortifications and became a prison in the 14th century. Today, local crafts were being sold for Christmas. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even sleep there!
La tour Beauvoir à Blois est à l’origine un donjon entourée d’un fossé. En 1256, il est attaché aux fortifications de la ville et il est aménagé en prison au 14ème siècle. Aujourd’hui on y vendait des objets d’artisanat local pour noël. Si vous avez le sens de l’aventure, vous pouvez même y dormir!

It looks ancient, but decorated like that, appealing!
No thanks. I won’t be sleeping there. The lighting creates too many ghostly feelings.
