Damien says his grandmother had a pigsty with a window like that. Our pigsty (now the rubbish room) has a door but not a window.

Probably for an animal maybe. I like the house, it’s old and attractive.
It is quite low. I have seen the odd house here with a bricked in window. I wondered if interior renovations negated the need for it.
