I love the mixture of architecture in this little cul-de-sac whic is called an “impasse” in French although it is still possible to say “cul-de-sac” which literally means the bottom of the bag.

I’ve never really thought of the meaning of cul-de-sac, but that’s correct!
You can imagine why the Removal firms want to know if they can get their huge vans close to properties.
