You see the most amazing things in small towns! There was no sign of where this gate leads to apart from a small weekend chalet on the right hidden among the trees. I thought the eagles were an interesting touch.
On voit des choses étonnantes dans les petites villes ! Ce portail semble sans rapport avec le petit chalet de weekend caché sous les arbres à droite. Je trouve que les aigles apporte une touche intéressante.

That is a distinctive gate.
Nice pair of eagles rather than both looking the same way.
I love it when some (a lot ) of fancy closed gates are up and to ‘get in’ you just go around the side of the supporting plllar.
I don’t know if I’ve noticed many here. They like closing off their properties.
I have to laugh because not far from my house there are the same gates with nothing, not any type of fencing or wall. I always wonder, what is that all about?
A statement maybe? Or they ran out of funds ?
