With all the recent rain, the Loire is almost over the bike path opposite the church of Saint Nicolas and the castle in Blois. Below, a little further along the banks of the river – but without the sun!
Avec toute la pluie qu’on a eu récemment, la Loire recouvre presque la piste cyclable en face de l’église de saint Nicolas et le château de Blois Dessous, un peu plus loin sur la rive – sans le soleil !.

Those are very high waters. I can see that becoming problematic if you get more rain.
So far, so good. The large vacant area in front of our house is floodable but not our house itself. Well, it hasn’t flooded in the last 430 years anyway!
