Our friends Susan and Simon from Loire Valley Time Travel came to collect us in their 1953 Citroën Traction Avant called Célestine on Sunday to participate in the Blois classic car festival. Below are some of the other vehicles: the first was the oldest car there – a 1923 Peugeot; next a Renault 4L with its matching caravan followed by a pennyfarthing bike whose owner is well and truly dressed for the part. The only disappointment was the rain and very low temperatures.

That’s a new one for me.
It’s a very useful expression!
A shame about the rain. Such a wonderful atmosphere. I love the composition of the pic of Susan’s car.
Our lilac was at its best but today the flowers are sodden.
Love the Renault and it’s close coupled companion. Only thing is I’d like it in ANY other colour.
Close-coupled companion is very nice but what’s the problem with the color?
I dislike the mud/sand colour, .I’ll have one in the blue of the Peugeot ’23 please – goes with my eyes not my complexion.
Beautiful classics!
Aren’t they just!
