I’ve seen these installations in other places but I was surprised to see such a large vending machine in a motorway rest area. I can’t imagine who would buy uncooked carrots, egg plants and onions during a coffee/rest room break when travelling.

Seems odd. Were they as expensive as I imagine?
I love how I don’t have to fill in my info to post a comment.
I’m glad about being able to comment more easily! They were not that expensive at all. For 600 g of heirloom tomatoes, it was 4 euros but for 1 1/2 kilos of heirloom tomates and capsicums, it was 6.50 euros. For 3 kgs of eggplant, tomatoes, carrots, zucchini and onions, only 12 euros.
