New Year’s Day at Chambord. Le jour de l’an à Chambord.

A neighbour told us about the Caroline Fountain in the grounds of Château de Chambord, dated 1825 and bearing the inscription: “like your kind deeds, my beneficial waters will never dry up” – or at least that’s what we think it means!
