Unfortunatelyl, I can’t quite make out what the bas-relief represents on the little oriel of the façade of our local château de la Vicomté aux Grouets.. Malheureusement je n’arrive pas à savoir ce que représente le bas-relief sur la fenêtre en oriel de notre château local de la Vicomté in Les Grouets..
The Christmas decorations may have been disappointing, but I loved these orchids in the grand dining room at Château de Cheverny. Les décorations de noël sont peut-être decevantes mais ces orchidées dans la grande salle à manger au Château de Cheverny sont splendides.
We went to Château de Cheverny today to see the tallest Christmas tree in Europe – that’s it on the right. Not as impressive as we had hoped … the interior Christmas decorations were very disappointing as well. This bas relief of Saint Michael slaying the dragon in the 15th century Court of Honour at château de Fougères is unfortunately very damaged. Ce bas relief de Saint Michel terrassant le dragon dans la cour d’honneur du château de Fougères qui date du 15ème siècle.est malheureusement très abîmé.
