We are having a 4-night mini-break staying in La Charité-sur-Loire with lots of cycling on the agenda. This was taken around 7.30 pm. Nous prenons des mini-vacances de 4 jours avec la Charité-sur-Loire comme point de départ pour nos virées en vélo. Cette photo est prise vers 19h30.
We came across the little pop-up booth offering refreshments on the bike path between Muides and Saint-Dyé, not unusual in Germany but unheard-of here. Nous sommes tombés sur ce petit débit de boissons sur l’itinéraire vélo entre Muides et Saint-Dyé, assez courant en Allemagne mais inconnu ici.
We cycled from Blois to Muides and back today on either side of the Loire. We hoped to take the little ferry across at Cours sur Loire but Covid seems to have chased it away. Nous avons fait Blois-Muides en vélo aujourd’hui sur les deux côtés de la Loire. Nous aurions aimé prendre le petit …
Another sunny day but this time we had a picnic lunch instead of dinner because the days are getting too short to cycle in the evening. Encore une belle journée ensoleillée mais nous avons troqué le dîner contre le déjeuner car les jours raccourcissent trop pour faire du vélo le soir.
Langeais is famous for its mediaeval castle but what we love is the pâtisserie opposite! They make their own delicious ice-cream, pâtisseries and chocolates and the view is wonderful!
