We were having a break on the cycle path between Château de Chaumont and Candé sur Beuvron today, admiring the poplars when this cyclist rode past. Nous faisions une pause sur la piste cyclable aujourd’hui entre château de Chaumont et Candé sur Beuvron, en admirant les peupliers lorsque ce cycliste est passé.

Fortunately we were able to visit one of the oldest oak trees in the world today – at least 3250 years old. Heureusement nous avons pu visiter l’un des plus vieux oliviers du monde aujourd’hui – au moins 3250 ans d’âge.
We were not able to identify this knotty tree. Nous n’avons pas réussi à identifier cet arbre plein de noeuds.
The sign on the catalpa tree on the left says that due to its state of health (parasites, withering, dead branches, risk of main branches falling off), it will soon be felled.
