This is another watermill in Suevres. Built on the Tronne in 1393 the Rochechouard Mill belonged to the Chapter of St Martin of Tours until the Revolution when it was sold to Mr and Mrs Bourguignon-Bergevin who added an upper storey in 1817. Today, the temperature was finally high enough (19°C) to go cycling again after a 5-month break. The flat-bottom boats were waiting for us at Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire. Aujourd’hui la température était enfin suffisante (19°C) pour faire du vélo après 5 mois d’arrêt. Les gabarres nous attendaient à Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire.
This, surprisingly, is the fire station at Chouzy-sur-Cisse, a lttle village 5 kilometers from Blois, with a population of about 2,000 people. I love the way it fits in with its surroundings!
