We woke up to snow this morning and the surprise of seeing three deer in the garden. They are to the right of the tree at the top of the path. The birds came in flocks. I counted about 30 at one stage. The sun came out and melted most of the snow by late afternoon but it stayed very cold – about – 3 degrees Celsius (27 F).
La neige nous attendait au réveil ce matin. Nous étions surpris de voir trois chevreuils dans le garden. Ils sont à droite du bouleau en haut de l’escalier. Les oiseaux étaient vraiment nombreux. J’en ai compté une trentaine à la fois. Puis le soleil est venu fondre une bonne partie de la neige en fin d’après-midi mais il faisait froid: -3 degrés (27 Fahrenheit).
